Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System

Acne and its therapy

Acne is a menace. Though, it’s not something that cannot be dealt with. There are tons of acne skin treatment products available. One of the best is the Neutrogena Acne Therapy System. We can classify acne skin care products into 3 general categories –

* Precautionary or general acne skin care  products

* Over-the-counter, specialized acne skin care products

* On-prescription acne skin care  products.

The general acne skin care  products are the types that are used as acne-prevention procedures. These incorporate cleansers, make-up removers and equivalent products that help prevent acne. In the real sense, these acne skincare  products are just those that should anyway be part of your daily routine. However, some of these are much more oriented to function like an acne skincare  product. These acne skin care products work in opposition to the causes of acne e.g. reducing the production of sunbum/oil and stopping clogging of skin pores. Basically, these acne skin treatment  products lessen the oil from getting trapped in pores and hence obstruct the development of microbes that lead to acne. The general acne skin care  products also include exfoliation products like skin peels. These work towards eliminating dead skin cells, hence lowering the chance of pore-clogging and bacteria development.

Then there are specialized acne skin care  products that are available over-the-counter i.e. without the requirement of a prescription. These include supplements like vanishing creams which extract the extra oil from the skin. Most of these acne skin care  products are founded on benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, both of which are the enemies of bacteria (and hence acne). You need to begin with a product that has lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide (e.g. 5%) and see how your skin responds to it.  Alpha-hydroxy-acid formulated moisturizers are also desirable as acne skin care  products. You may well have to try a couple, before you zero-in on the acne skin treatment  product that is effective for you. If nothing seems to work, you should get in touch with a skin specialist.

On-prescription acne skin treatment  products are the ones that are prescribed through a dermatologist. That can include ointments that can be applied on the impacted region or oral antibiotics or just any topical medication. Your dermatologist could also propose a simple surgical treatment to eliminate the contents of pustules.  Although, by no means attempt to pinch or do this without help, it can lead to permanent harm to your skin.  Your physician could also prescribe a hormone-based medication (since hormonal changes are also understood to cause acne). Such acne skincare  products are understood to be very reliable in some cases.

So, with all those acne skin treatment  products, tackling acne is not that tough.
